Somebody push it away so all that I can hear is a simple song

This is actually kind of weird...I bought a christmas present for my sister, Miley Cyrus' latest record (Breakout to whom it might be interesting), because she loves her, and of course I copied it into my itunes because I have all the music that exists in our home in my itunes =) I listened through it and as I expected it was, lets say "not my taste" of music, but then this song came up and now I've got a confession to make: I LOVE IT! It's called Simple Song and I really like the lyrics and can't get it out of my head. I never thought that Miley Cyrus would ever do that to me, haha.
So here are the lyrics. They're not even profound or something, still, it fits me pretty good right now. Don't you wish you would be able to turn off everything for a minute and get rid of all the crazy thoughts i your head and of all the noises around you?

Wake up, here I gocram it all down my throat
Stomach so full that I wish I could choke
Seven a.m. my head's already in a spin
Just as soon I'm out that door, bam!
Hits me like a ton of those red bricks
Can't dig myself out of this highest ditch
This madness

I swear sometimes I can't tell
Which way is up, which way is down
It's all up in my face, need to push it away
Somebody push it away
So all that I can hear
Is a simple song
Sing along now

La, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la

Midday sun beatin' on the concrete
Burnin' up my feet
Too many cars on the street
The noise, the red, the green
It makes me wanna scream

5 o'clock knocks
Bumper on bumper on bumper horns honkin'
Nobody's lookin' but everybody's talkin
It's another day on this highway

I swear sometimes I can't tell
Which way is up, which way is down
It's all up in my face
I need to push it away
Somebody push it away
'Cause all I wanna hear
Is a simple song

La, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la

What I'd give to turn it off
Make it stop, make it stop
Gotta make it stop
So all that I can hear...

These Disney people can surprise us pretty much sometimes, huh? The song is catchy. It makes me think of jumping down the stairs. Are you already looking forward to the History excursion tomorrow?
I was in an annoying mood today, sorry about that ^^
Love you!

Yeah, it would indeed be great to have a labelled outfit like that every day... I would love someone to label MY outfits!
Oohh, I'm excited about that Christmas present from P. - and from you! By the way, did you open the one from me then in the end?
See you in less than an hour!
Love

i guess "fly on the wall" isn't too bad on Miley's cd, but Trace & Mason (who actually has all the harmony) they just have such a fun vibe to them. They keyboard guy is fantastic. Shake it was the first song I heard of theirs. I love At the Disco too..and a version you hear on the net you'll hear Trace sing "And she drank more.." which is so much better than the 'edit' version.

Happy Holidays!
